AGENDA
Wednesday 07 February 2024
Thursday, 08 February 2024
e-motion 765/280
All-electric injection moulding of thin-walled containers
With the e-motion 765/280 T, we are setting new standards in terms of performance for all-electric machines. The thin-walled containers on display, with a wall thickness of just 0.45 mm, could previously only be produced on hybrid machines. You benefit from significantly lower energy consumption and a smaller CO2 footprint.
Application: 1.3 litre Pail
Mould: Inmold
Cavities: 2
Material: PP
Automation: Inmold IML
e-speed 280/50
Food-grade thin-walled containers made from recyclate with rPET
From regranulate to ready-to-fill thin-wall packaging in just one process step: on our hybrid high-performance machine e-speed, we demonstrate the next stage of circular economy for the packaging industry.
Application: rPET Cup
Mould: Brink
Cavities: 4
Material: 75% PET/25% rPET
Automation: Intopack IML
duo speed 1560/500
Increasing productivity by exploring limits
Experience the fastest two-platen injection moulding machine on the market and its advantages especially for packaging manufacturers: More cavities on a similar footprint result in a significant increase in productivity.
Application: 250 g Tub
Mould: Courtesy of Greiner
Cavities: 6
Material: PP
e-mac 465/180
High efficiency and productivity for the mid-performance segment
Our e-mac series is our solution, especially for applications with less extreme flow path-to-wall thickness ratios. Its highly efficient, all-electric drives combined with the particularly small footprint ensure maximum productivity at low cost.
Application: 150 g Tub

Here you will find all important information about the event:
The ENGEL Thin-Wall Packaging Days is an event that is all about thin-wall packaging. The focus is on energy efficency and performance enhancement.
With this format, we address: management & decision-makers, application and process engineers and everyone who is actively involved in thin-wall packaging.
The one-day event is a colourful and balanced mix of expert presentations, field reports and interactive stations in our Packaging Center, where we will show you the advantages on three machines, from a non-optimized towards an optimized production cell.
Of course, networking and the exchange of experiences will not be neglected. A regional delicacy buffet will also be provided.
The lectures will be held either in German or in English. All lectures will also be simultaneously translated. (German -> English and of course also English -> German). Headsets and the corresponding receiver are available on site. Please note the corresponding information signs.
