Neofyton headquarter will be closed on November 11 for the National holiday. The office opens at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Thursday, November 11, 2021 will be non-working day, not only in Serbia but all over the world, since we celebrate the Armistice Day in the First World War. This national holiday has been celebrated in Serbia since 2012. Before that it was celebrated in the first lessons in all primary and secondary schools since 2005.
The Armistice Day in the First World War is the day of the capitulation of Germany in the First World War in 1918 in the railway car in Compiènt. At that time, the Entente Powers signed an armistice with Germany and thus ended the First World War.
The main motif for the emblem of this holiday is the flower of Ramonda nathaliae , which is on the list of rare, endangered and endemic plants of Europe, and it is protected in Serbia by law as a natural rarity. This flower is also known in botany as the phoenix flower, because even when it withers completely, if watered, it can revive. Hence the symbolism of the “rebirth” of Serbia, which managed to recover after perishing.
