DYNAMICO introduces a new approach to mold temperature control: instead of focusing only on water temperature, it optimizes the key process driver—cooling time. With dynamic temperature and flow control, synchronization with the injection molding machine cycle, and advanced Wizard software, DYNAMICO helps increase productivity, reduce energy consumption, and simplify process standardization in technical molding and packaging.

What is a Mold Profit Booster?

DYNAMICO is more than a conventional TCU (Temperature Control Unit). It is an intelligent Mold Profit Booster technology designed to shorten cooling time and total cycle time—rather than only regulating water temperature.

A new generation of Mold TCU

DYNAMICO units are engineered to improve heat transfer between circulating water and the mold cavity. This can significantly reduce cooling time while keeping part quality consistent—even with demanding geometries and high-cavitation tools.

With advanced controls and an embedded Wizard, DYNAMICO helps search, find and store optimal “recipes” for temperature, flow and mold cooling time—making setup easier for operators and process engineers alike.

DYNAMICO Wizard is a unique tool that helps identify and store the best mold temperature control parameters, with the goal of maximizing productivity while keeping part quality stable.

Recipes and an interactive mold database

  • RECIPES: advanced algorithms suggest dynamic temperature and flow setpoints based on process data.
  • INTERACTIVE MOLD DATABASE: store and quickly recall operating modes (recipes) for each mold.
  • Faster machine setup during frequent tool changes and product transitions.

Everything is managed via a 7” touchscreen with an intuitive interface and a full set of digital sensors for diagnostics and limit monitoring—making operation and maintenance simpler.

The DYNAMICO family includes three core configurations: DY (with integrated chiller), DS (without chiller for technical molding), and DP (without chiller optimized for packaging), available in single-circuit and dual-circuit variants. Dynamico DY (DYM/DYD) is ideal for advanced technical molding and packaging applications when independent chilled-water generation is required close to the machine. With an integrated chiller, DY can operate independently from the central cooling system, reaching a minimum temperature setpoint of +10 °C without glycol.

Dynamico DS – Mold Profit Booster for technical molding

Dynamico DS (DSM/DSD) is designed for technical molding at temperatures up to 90 °C, when the mold is connected to the central cooling system and the focus is on dynamic control of temperature and flow to reduce cooling time and total cycle time.

DS uses the same Dynamic Mold Temperature Control technology as DY—with a dedicated control loop per machine and mold, dynamic temperature setpoint and dynamic flow control (Syncro Mode), synchronized with the cooling phase of the cycle.

Dynamico DP – Mold Profit Booster for packaging

Dynamico DP (DPM/DPD) is developed specifically for packaging applications (preforms, caps, containers, bottle and container blow molding), with mold operating temperatures up to 50 °C and very low cooling-water temperatures, helping minimize condensation on the mold even during stoppages.

Like DS, DP uses dynamic temperature and flow control synchronized with the injection molding cycle, but is further optimized for high speed and short cycles typical in the packaging industry.
