More space, more efficiency, more precision:

Presented at the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf

At the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf, ENGEL presented a world-first – the victory electric, a tie-bar-less electric injection moulding machine that sets new standards in precision, energy efficiency and flexibility.
The completely redesigned clamping unit combines the proven advantages of ENGEL tie-bar-less technology with the dynamics of electric drives, enabling higher productivity within the same footprint.

Tie-bar-less technology and electric drive

Tie-bar-less means: more space in the mould area, faster mould changes and easier automation. With more than 85,000 machines of this design installed worldwide, ENGEL once again demonstrates the success of its unique concept. The new victory electric combines these advantages with those of an electric machine in the clamping force range above 1,300 kN – closing a market gap where many processors are actively looking for such solutions.

Compact design and precise mechanics

The compact design reduces the overall machine length by around 200 mm, allowing for optimized production layouts. Thanks to the tie-bar-less concept, significantly larger moulds can be used on machines of the same clamping force class – without additional investment. For example, a mould that would typically require 3,200 kN can be operated on a victory electric 220 with just 2,200 kN clamping force. At the heart of the machine is a newly developed clamping unit with two vertically arranged pressure bars, replacing the traditional toggle mechanism and ensuring exceptionally uniform force distribution across the entire platen surface. An integrated deformation compensation system keeps platen parallelism stable and precise – even with complex moulds.

Energy efficiency and sustainability

All main movements are powered by a servo motor – a drive system known for reliability in ENGEL machines. The integrated energy recovery system further reduces power consumption and improves the ecological footprint of the process.

Flexibility and hydraulic support

The standard integration of a hydraulic unit expands machine functionality by enabling hydraulic core-pull systems. Components such as the ejector and position sensors are taken from the ENGEL duo series, ensuring maximum stability and process reliability.

With the victory electric , ENGEL expands its tie-bar-less portfolio with a powerful electric variant. Alongside the servo-hydraulic victory and hybrid e-victory models, a fully electric solution is now available in the medium clamping force range – ideal for manufacturers aiming for precision, energy efficiency and maximum mould space.

The new victory electric – compact, electric and tie-bar-less – represents ENGEL’s consistent response to market demands for efficiency, energy savings and process stability.
