On October 1st, 2024, Neofyton officially opened its new office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking a significant step in strengthening its presence in the regional market and enhancing cooperation with local and international partners. This event gathered leading industry experts, partners, and representatives of key companies, providing an opportunity to highlight the importance of this move for the further development of the industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ceremony began with an introductory speech by Zoran Tadić, the owner of Neofyton BiH and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in AP Vojvodina, who emphasized the significance of establishing the company in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He highlighted that this move is a key step in Neofyton’s efforts to get closer to its customers and partners in this market. Mr. Tadić also stressed the longstanding successful cooperation with Austrian companies and institutions and the Trade Department of the Austrian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Following this, Martha Suda, Trade Counselor at Advantage Austria – Sarajevo, addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of bilateral economic cooperation between Austria, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. She emphasized that Austrian companies, such as Engel and IFW, play a significant role in the industrial development of the region and that the opening of Neofyton BiH will further strengthen these connections.

One of the key speakers was Günther Glocker, Sales Coordinator for the Automotive & Mobility sector at Engel Austria Gmbh, who presented the latest technological advancements in injection moulding machines and automation systems, emphasizing the technical advantages of Engel machines. Carlo Scalvini, Export Manager at Piovan, discussed advanced solutions for automation and control in plastic processing, while Florent Ademaj, CEO of Joma Packaging from Kreševo, shared his experiences in working with Neofyton and outlined plans for the modernization and further enhancement of their production capacities.

After a short coffee break, the participants had the opportunity to tour the Joma Packaging factory. During the visit, attendees were able to see Engel machines in action, showcasing the latest technological solutions in the production of plastic packaging and medical applications. This tour provided a clear insight into the practical applications of advanced technological solutions that Neofyton, as the exclusive representative of Engel and Piovan, brings to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the technical tour, members of the Neofyton team presented the company’s plans in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jelena Dmitrović, Sales Director at Neofyton, gave an overview of sales activities and plans for the Bosnian market, emphasizing the importance of local presence and customer support. Dmitrović also introduced the sales team members who will be responsible for the further growth and development of the company, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina but also in the wider region.

Following this, Dalibor Beretić, Project Manager at Neofyton, presented the service activities and the team that will be responsible for providing fast and efficient technical support in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beretić emphasized Neofyton’s commitment to delivering top-tier technical support and machine maintenance, ensuring maximum reliability and productivity for all clients.

Dragica Krsmanović, Key Account Manager at Neofyton, delivered a presentation on the return on investment (ROI) for new Engel injection molding machines, stressing that investing in quality pays off with a quick return on investment and, in the long run, leads to significant increases in productivity and profitability.

At the end of the event, the latest technological innovations from Engel were presented, which will be showcased at the upcoming Fakuma 2024 trade fair, to be held from October 15th to 19th in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Neofyton invited all customers to visit the Engel booth at the fair, where they will have the opportunity to learn more about solutions that offer greater precision, shorter production cycles, and recycling solutions.

This event not only marked the official opening of Neofyton in Bosnia and Herzegovina but also served as a platform for connecting industry leaders and exchanging ideas on future projects and innovations in the plastics processing industry.
