As part of the long-term cooperation between the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Laboratory for Polymers, the Faculty of Technology and the Neofyton company, a two-day training session was held to work on the Engel Victory 50 injection molding machine.

Students of the Faculty of Technology attended the training in small groups and on that occasion they had the opportunity to get to know the basic functioning of the machine.

During the training, a tool was used to make plastic samples for tensile testing, while the material was polypropylene.

The specificity of this training is reflected in the fact that after a short introduction and demonstration by the lecturer, further work on the machine is done exclusively by the student with the lecturer’s suggestions. This type of training aims for students to gain practice on the machine as early as possible and to connect this experience with theoretical knowledge from lectures.

The entire training was conducted according to the official instructions for use, and the training was conducted by Dr. Marko Vilotić, associate professor from the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
