The company Neofyton was founded exactly 29 years ago. Back in 1992, on November 16, the company was registered on the market with its primary activity, trade in machinery and equipment for the plastics industry, that has not been changed since the founding.
A word from the owner
The owner and director of the company, Mr. Zoran Tadic said that we are one step away from the third decade of existence. He pointed out that the current team of Neofyton is in the best and can lead the company to further development and progress. The pillar of the company’s stability consists of employees who have been with Neofyton for more than a decade, but the strengthening of the team has been contributed by new colleagues who have brought new positive energy to the company. This year, despite the challenges we have had with the Covid-19 pandemic, we have shown that we can do well, and next year, when we celebrate 30 years of existence, obliges us to be even better and more successful. Mr. Tadić thanked all the employees for their work and commitment, and for their contribution to making Neofyton a leader not only in the Balkans but also in this part of Europe.
The idea of Neofyton
The idea of Neofyton stemmed from the desire of Mr. Stojan Tadić to provide a secure future for his sons who finished school and chose the path of their careers. At a time when the public sector was becoming weaker and more insecure, starting a private company and starting your own business was the right decision. As a mechanical engineer and economist, Stojan resolutely founded Neofyton.
The company’s name resulted from researching the history of Novi Sad in 18th and 19th century during Greek-Serbian trade peak. . The Greek term for “novi sad” (flower, crop) – “neofyton”, symbolizing the company’s development and growth as a new life.
Neofyton today
Today, Neofyton represents the world’s largest manufacturers of machinery and accompanying equipment such as Engel, Wintec, Piovan, Eurochiller, Sipa, and MB Conveyors. In its portfolio, Neofyton offers system designing and optimization, delivery of equipment tailored to customer needs, installation, putting machine into operation, as well as after-sales activities that include warranty periods and servicing.
