This year, the company Neofyton is a friend and donor of the International Children’s Literature Center called Zmaj’s Children’s Game, which for the 65th time organizes numerous cultural events for children and youth. The theme of this year’s program is “Where the Blue Danube Whispers”, and the event will be held from June 6 to 12 at several locations in Novi Sad and its surroundings. In the year when Novi Sad holds the title of European Capital of Culture, festival events will take place throughout the city (in city cultural stations, parks, schools and kindergartens, children’s playgrounds, green areas, branches of the City Library in Novi Sad, museums, social welfare institutions for children and young people) and thus be more easily accessible to all small fellow citizens and interested audiences.
The youngest citizens are offered numerous cultural contents of literal, dramatic, musical, artistic and multimedia, and above all entertaining character. Admission to all programs is free.
The International Center of Literature for Children of the Zmaj`s Children’s Game was founded in 1957 in Novi Sad, with the aim of monitoring and affirming literature, as well as other types of artistic creation for children and youth. Zmaj`s Children’s Games prepare and organize numerous multimedia and professional projects.
The center, based in Novi Sad, brings together writers, illustrators, critics, theorists, publishers, editors and readers of children’s literature in various fields of its artistic and professional activities. At the same time, it networks libraries, cultural centers, museums, theaters, students and student organizations, informal associations, educational and social and health care institutions, and media houses.
The center supports artistic creation for children and youth by encouraging cultural needs and developing the creative potential of young people and contributing to the involvement of citizens in the cultural life of the city.
