Acting Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Vera Vukicevic handed over the exequatur

to the Honorary Consul of Austria in Serbia, Zoran Tadić.

The handover ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of Austria to Serbia, Nikolaus Lutterotti.

The official opening and start of the work of the Consulate, with competence

for the area of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, is expected in the next few weeks.

The Consulate will contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially

in the field of economy, culture and science.

The headquarters of the Consulate will be at 27b Partizanska Street in Novi Sad.

The Honorary Consul Zoran Tadić is the director of the well-known Novi Sad company called Neofyton,

which represents the world’s leading companies in the plastics industry, and the most important partner

of Neofyton is the Austrian company Engel. Neofyton and Mr.Tadic have been successfully cooperating with the

Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Serbia and Nigeria for many years. Mr. Tadić is also a member

of the board for science and economy cooperation at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
